These terms govern your use of this website and any laser-cutting or related services you buy from us. Please read them carefully. By placing an order you agree to be bound by them. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. Who we are

Next Day Laser is a trading name of Hurstbourne Forge Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England & Wales. Our registered address and contact details are at the foot of this page. Our VAT registration number is GB 376 221 596.

2. Use of this website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not misuse it by knowingly introducing malicious code, attempting to gain unauthorised access, or using it in any way that could damage, disable or impair the site. We may update, suspend or withdraw the site or any part of it without notice, and we do not guarantee that it will always be available or free from errors.

3. Quotes & acceptance

Any price our online quoter or our team gives you is an indicative estimate based on the file, material, thickness and quantity you supply. It becomes a firm quotation only once an engineer has reviewed the geometry, nesting and material stock and we confirm a price and lead time. A contract is formed only when we accept your order in writing (including by email). We may decline or cancel an order — for example where the part cannot be cut safely or to specification, where material is unavailable, where there has been a pricing or description error, or where we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment.

4. Prices & payment

  • Prices and quotes are in pounds sterling (GBP) and, unless stated otherwise, are shown excluding VAT; VAT at the prevailing rate (currently 20%) is added.
  • Quoted prices assume the part can be produced as drawn from the material specified; changes to the file, material or quantity may change the price.
  • Delivery charges, where they apply, are shown or confirmed separately before you commit to the order.
  • We may correct any pricing error before we accept your order; if a price was obviously wrong, we are not obliged to supply at that price.
  • Payment is due as agreed when we accept your order unless we have agreed account terms with you in writing. Goods remain our property until paid for in full.

5. Delivery & collection

Lead times and dispatch dates are estimates and are not guaranteed unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery, or on collection where you collect from us in Andover. If no one is available to take delivery, the carrier's standard re-delivery or collection process will apply. Please inspect parts on arrival and tell us promptly about any shortage or damage.

6. Cancellation & returns

Laser-cut parts are produced to your specification and file, and so are made specifically for you. Because of this they are non-cancellable and non-returnable once production has begun, except where they are faulty or not made to the agreed specification. Faulty or misdescribed goods can be returned for repair, replacement or refund in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Please contact us before returning anything so we can advise the best method.

7. Your files & drawings

You are responsible for the accuracy of any drawings, dimensions, files or specifications you supply, and for confirming that you have the right to have the part made. We cut to the file and specification you approve; we are not responsible for errors in your data, and we will only proceed on the specification agreed.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, for losses arising from your own breach of these terms, or — where you are buying as a business — for any indirect or consequential loss or loss of profit. Our total liability in connection with an order will not exceed the price paid for that order.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website (text, images, logos, design) is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property law. You may view and print pages for your own use but may not reproduce, republish or exploit them commercially without our permission. Drawings and files you supply to us remain yours; you grant us a licence to use them only to fulfil your order.

10. Privacy & cookies

We process personal data in line with our privacy policy, and use cookies and similar technologies as described in our cookie policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales. We may revise these terms from time to time; the version in force when you place your order applies to that order.
